The battle lines had been drawn...
The Titans had risen...
This is what they were all waiting for, a chance to stand tall and fight for the core. All of the top 5 were to be part of this... This the war they all knew was going to be the end of one side or the other...
They could not have guessed how it would start, but both side's new it was going to happen...
Troops began to move across the world, Millions, Ten's of millions of Spear men, Swordsmen & Cavalry marched for weeks to join their brothers on the front's, Casualties would be high for both sides, knowing that the lines must hold more and more men were sent to their inevitable deaths...
For honour.. For their tribe... For the world...
All any of them could do now was wait for the first move to be made... Who would break the NAP that had been keeping the peace in this region?
Then it happened...
Flaming Dinosaurs & Multiple Wargasms threw down the gauntlets... the declarations was sent and the peace was officially no more.
"You've Been Served!!!
You are now divorced from w64 but don't worry, our engagement is just starting - You get the kids, we'll take the house"
Within minutes of the declaration the incoming attacks began to appear on the Ex Family's screens, the attacks had begun, and this was the start of the great war. Planning seemed be in the favour of HotRex with multiple operations starting to take shape, it was becoming clear that HotRex would use the Christmas attack break to their advantage.
Troops were getting restless, attack villages were beginning to ship out their force's onto the battlefield, many of the back row defenders had taken the opportunity to join the front lines and marched their nobles for many days towards their claimed villages...
So many nuke's and trains were launched by HotRex with most landing only 5 minutes before the attack-break it was looking like this would be a success, little did they know that the Ex Family were also ready...
The war was no secret, both sides had been preparing for this, while the Incoming attacks increased in number the Ex family had no choice but to manoeuvre their defence's, the war had come a bit earlier that they had expected. This did not stop them though, with many players actively playing when the declaration came they had time to get the units ready. This was not preparations for attacks, but a form of damage limitation on the first wave...
Many of the HotRex attacks hit solid defence stacks, something that had been anticipated, but not to the scale that was seen, nobody really thought that this many troops would die...
Then the Christmas break arrived, a much needed chance for both sides to regroup and relax, although the war was only a few days old it had hit at the morale on both side's with Ex Family members still moving their support to the front lines they had to begin moving operations forward, to be ready for the next round of fighting.
Meanwhile HotRex & ~MW~ had to re-assign the front line's, after their initial operational success it had brought a boost in the tribe's with members feeling good about the first wave. All members enjoyed the break with family and friends knowing that soon they would need to return to the battlefield...
The sun began to rise on another wave of attacks, it was clear the the Ex family had re-grouped and were getting back in the game. HotRex were beginning to see incoming attacks, calls to strengthen the front went out across the land...
Could this be the turn in this battle? could the lead they had gained be pushed back? Ex were showing that this war was not going to be an easy win, with their members gaining defender of the day awards and now they were capturing villages, the fight was on for the core.
With the New Year looming all the tribes in this war will be looking towards that next break, another chance to rest and regroup, for soon it will be a never ending battle, no more chance's to have a ceasefire... the war will be in full flow and only the Gods of the battlefield will decide their fate's...
