HotRex arrived from the merge of RawR! and Onfire, two of the top tribes in the region coming together to become one of the new superpowers in the core, holding controlling territories that stretch 13 separate k's, making them the owners of the largest territory held by a single tribe...
But where did they come from?
The tribe HotRex came from a fairly wide background, not just
starting out as the 2 tribes that merged later in the game. They had to grow
and become powerful tribes in their own right before joining to become the
tribe we see today…
We start with the story of Rawr!...
This tribe started the world as “BamBam” a small tribe consisting
of players that all had a little potential, as we all did in the start of the
world, located in the southern core of the map (k66) they found themselves sharing
the region with a few other crews… an early merge that was brokered with a
tribe known as “66” would mean that BamBam could secure their territory at a
faster pace than the others in that area of the world.
The leadership was forming and the tribe had been given a
purpose… minor skirmishes for power and respect were the meal of the day, and
none tastier than that of “Jedimindtrix” a member of jelly and a player who
thought they could take on this tribe of noobs… that didn’t go down in the
manor he had hoped…
A few family tribes tried to flex their muscles by
attacking, but it was barely time for nobles… what were they thinking, although
not too worried about this, it was decided that an alliance was needed, and
with a few negotiations the Alliance with ~MW~ was formed… it was a good time
to be in the crew, a plan to take the whole of k66 was being made… The time was coming for our players to make a
move on the others around them, So it came to a few skirmishes with the local
tribe’s - SOD (Southern K66), BarBa (K65) and the DX Family (K56) this was
going to be the breaking point for BamBam, they had too many enemies on their
door with little chance of taking them all was this the end….
We turn to another tribe now known as “Friday” who was also
trying to make their mark in the world, a tribe formed from 2 other small
pre-made tribes, each with little hope of making it alone they came together and
began to try making a name for themselves. This was not going to plan though,
local tribes Jelly and ~MW~ were showing their presence, using past friendships
FRIDAY arranged a NAP with ~MW~ in an attempt to gain friends with some
backing.
Little did they know that this move was a turning point in
their future.
The tribes had friends in ~MW~ and an idea was being floated
about, why not bring BamBam and FRIDAY together… The merge happened and the
birth of Rawr! had come into the world! There was no time to celebrate, the DX
Family was not going to Honor the deal they had with FRIDAY after a merge, they
saw Rawr! as a threat. The age-old war cry was sounded, and it looked like
Rawr! were to be blind-sided by the DX family and their ally Rage. Calling for
assistance was not working, ~MW~ was too far away and the local crews were busy
in other wars…
With few options left it was time to resort to dirty
tactic’s… A spy was placed in the DX Family ranks.
The war was feeling a bit less stressful now, they had solid
information coming in and though a bit of luck the spy was offered the account
of a larger player to take over. A move DX would not live long enough to regret
fully. DX family was disbanding, the formation of a single tribe of the old
players brought I.C.E into the frame, but as with most reformed tribes, they
were still enemies of Rawr! which needed to be crushed, well, more of a
cleaning operation.
It was all go for our tribe Rawr! who were cleaning out K65
& K55, battling their old enemies and being ganged up on by many new small
tribes hoping that their alliance would be the one, time would tell, and a new
age for Rawr! was just over the horizon…
We now look at Onfire, who were having their own fun during
all of this.
So where to start? Well in fact Onfire started with its
leader Evil Operation 3 months before the world even opened, in a dark room with
no windows and only a candle to light his way… Joking. It did start months before the world opened
with Evil hoping to make a premade tribe that would rival all others, this kind
of failed, with most who joined showing the skill level of a potato.
A few did seem talented, but some mass recruiting was used to fill the gaps, not the best plan, but it was the only way evil could see for him to have a tribe that spread over a large area. Again this kind of failed as well, with FOOD (as they were called back then) only holding troops in K35, it was time to push into another region, so diplomacy was made with a tribe known as ADHD in an effort to take out Why?... not a very long war though as they could not stand up to being attacked, even a little… Why? were no more.

Showing that he had a nice side Evil told ADHD that the
alliance was off, and the newly named Onfire were coming for them…
(I know, I know, I broke that habit out of him, but that
comes later in the story)
ADHD did not take this kindly and called in for more tribes
to help in this war, Bamboo, Revenge and a 4th tribe joined the
fight in an effort to put out Onfire’s blaze. These were dangerous times; a
merge was brokered with a local tribe in an effort to increase the battlefront.
A group from SOV joined the Onfire ranks, they had now gathered players in 2 k’s
and felt unstoppable. The war went on and ADHD fell, but Bamboo kept on going,
a tribe that could defend well was proving difficult.
With Onfire stretching out into the world they were getting
noticed, and it was by chance that members of Fusion wanted in, a chance to
escape from a leadership that would never go further. Onfire was now holding
part of K46, dominance was looking good. It was getting a bit crazy, no sooner had one war ended another would begin, it was time for an alliance to be made with Where? (What a waste of time that
was) in the hope of getting a strong ally…
Onfire was doing ok now, but there were internal problems,
not many knew how close they had come to failing. A few helped from behind the
scene’s guiding the leadership and helping keep the crew alive while still keeping
options open for a move, and with new wars breaking out in all K’s Zef, Wet,
Care? and soon Bob they all needed to stay strong if they wanted to survive
Soon Onfire would find themselves in a position to change world 64 forever…

Those who had helped from behind the scenes were still
keeping options open, and had made arrangements with Rawr! to join, a few moved
while others stayed in to fight Bob, a battle that Rawr! would be part of.
And so here is where our two tribes stories meet, the war
with Bob, Rawr! took in a few members which truly changed the map in K46 & K36,
a change that concerned many, but they were unaware of the changes that lay
ahead. Communications between Rawr! and Onfire had been going for many days and
the outcome was still unknown to many with members in both tribes voicing
concern of a war that neither was ready for. So it was a surprise when the idea
of war was gone and the news that a number of Onfire members would move to
Rawr!
With the list made and those concerned ready to go others
didn’t know how to react, thankfully some were accepted into ~MW~ which avoided
so many skirmishes between friends. But there were still some, and even though
it was something they all knew would happen it was still hard, but for a few to be immortal many must die.
So there it is, the creation of the new top tribe, there was
only one thing left to do…
A name…
Never have I seen so many hissy-fits and stupid suggestions,
but in the end the right one found its way to us all…
